From founding Oasis School in 2010 to building a multi-sector group, his journey is rooted in one belief: better services build stronger families and a stronger Tanzania.
The story
From a parent's frustration to a national mission.
As a professional working father with children enrolled in various private schools, his personal experiences with the educational system in Tanzania led him to start a school of his own.
His hunger and determination to tackle these issues turned into a realistic concept in 2010 and later blossomed into Oasis School. This initiative brought together some of Tanzania's senior academic advisors with matching educational facilities for the school.
"As natural caretakers, we — the founders of Oasis Schools — aspire for our children and others to excel to the best of their abilities. Oasis School will serve as a foundation for students to learn, evolve and rise above their potential."
From that single school, the vision grew into the Oasis Group of Companies — spanning education, healthcare, technology, media, consumer products, vocational training and soon financial services. Each business was born from the same instinct: see a real Tanzanian need, then build a quality service to meet it.
